The Gulf Cricket T20I Championship 2023 continues today with a double header once again lined-up today. The first match of the day will be played between the Qatar and Oman cricket team while the 2nd match of the day will be played between the Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) cricket team.
The Gulf Cricket T20I Championship 2023 has been a cracking off a tournament so far. A total of 4 matches have been played as part of the tournament so far and there has been no proper dominant team in the competition yet.
The match of the tournament was won by Kuwait cricket team, who beat Saudi Arabia by 5 wickets in the opening match of the tournament. The 2nd match though was won by the Qatar cricket team, who beat Bahrain cricket team in the match by 19 runs via DLS method.
The 2nd day of the tournament was also filled with brilliant cricketing action as UAE defeated Oman in the first match of the day while Kuwait then beat Bahrain in the latter match of the day. So far, Kuwait with 2 wins in 2 matches, sits at the top of the points table followed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The 3rd day of the tournament once again promises lot more exciting cricketing battles on the field with Qatar taking on Oman and then Saudi Arabia taking on UAE in the 2nd match of the day. Both the matches will be played at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Qatar’s Doha. The first match between Qatar and Oman will be played from 6:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) while the 2nd match will be played from 11 PM IST.
