The high-voltage clash between India and Australia will take place at the Oval in a few days. It is the final of the World Test Championship 2023, which will kick start on June 7. Australia topped the WTC table, while India became the second team to qualify.

It will be an epic clash between the two best test teams at the moment. However, the conditions will be different for both teams but will be more challenging for the Men in Blue. Adding to that, the ICC confirmed that the final will be played with Duke balls, which are totally different from the balls used in India and Australia.

This will be the second time in a row that India will play in the WTC final. They lost the last edition against New Zealand in 2021. Rohit Sharma and his team will look to end the trophy drought, as they haven’t won an ICC event in the last decade or so.

Here’s who will win WTC Final if it ends in a draw

Both teams are equipped with match-winners, which will make it more exciting for the fans. But the final ending in draw is also a possible equation, which no one can take out. Thus, what will happen if the final game ends in a draw?

Notably, Australia ended the WTC table at the top, and India was ranked second. But despite the WTC rankings, if the final ends in a draw, then the trophy will be shared by both teams. On the other hand, if there is any rain interruption, just like the last final in 2021, then there is a reserve day allotted.

But the reserve day can come into play if the play doesn’t have the given time or overs in five days. A test match has 30 hours to play, which is equal to six hours a day or 90 overs a day. If any of the five days doesn’t complete its full quota of 90 overs due to weather or any unforeseen conditions, then the reserve day will come into play.
