Ben Stokes’ absence will hurt the Rajasthan Royals hurt because he is one of the top all-rounders in the cricket world. Even Jos Buttler’s services will be missed. Who will replace Ben Stokes at the Rajasthan Royals in the second phase of IPL 2021?
Ben Stokes played as a batting all-rounder for the Rajasthan Royals. He opened the innings for the team and even bowled a few overs when needed. Now that Stokes is unlikely to participate in the UAE leg of IPL 2021, the Rajasthan Royals will have to hunt for a player who can make up for his absence.
It is pertinent to note that the all-rounder was ruled out of IPL 2021 in April after suffering an injury while taking a catch. At that time, reports emerged that Rassie van der Dussen had joined the Rajasthan Royals as a replacement. It will be interesting to see if Rassie plays for RR in IPL 2021.
