Pakistan is on a tour to Australia for a three-match test series. The first test will take place in Perth, which will start on December 10. It will be the very first assignment for Shan Masood as the new test captain, who took on the responsibility of red-ball cricket after Babar Azam stepped down from the role.

Pakistan reached Australia a couple of days ago. However, a video is surfacing on the internet where the Pakistani players were seen loading their own luggage onto the container truck outside the Sydney airport.

The video became the talking point between the fans, and many cricket analysts and journalists gave their reactions to it. However, Pakistan’s ace pacer, Shaheen Afridi, reveals the actual truth behind that video. In a media interaction ahead of the first practice session on Sunday in Canberra, it was said that the team was looking to help out.

The pacer said, “We only had 30 minutes to catch our next flight, and we helped because there were just two people. We wanted to wrap it up fast and save time.” However, the video stunned many fans once it went viral.

The upcoming test series is part of the ongoing World Test Championship. Pakistan won two matches earlier in Sri Lanka, while Australia retained the Ashes 2-2 as their first assignment in the ongoing WTC cycle. This series is important for both teams.

Shaheen also said that Pakistan is confident of doing well. David Warner, who has incredible test records against Pakistan, is all set to play his last series against the Men in Green.

The pacer lauded the veteran opener and said that they would hope that he didn’t get many runs in the last Test series against Pakistan. Before the first test, the visitors will play a four-day match against the Prime Minister’s XI in Canberra, starting on December 6. The three tests will be played in Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney, respectively.
