In the post-match interview with Murali Karthik, Yadav highlighted Singh’s composure in high-pressure situations. Referring to Singh’s impactful innings, which elevated the team’s total to 235/4 in 20 overs, Yadav likened Rinku Singh’s finishing style to a well-known former Indian player.

When pressed by Karthik about the identity of this player, Yadav responded, “Everyone knows about that person. He did the same job for India for so many years.” The reference was to the former Indian player who currently leads the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League, MS Dhoni.
