    ICC is the global cricket governing body which runs international tournaments and takes care of the various happenings in the cricketing world. The International Cricket Council has many members, with 12 nations holding the Test status as full members of the board.

    There are some upcoming cricketing nations which have the Associate membership of the International Cricket Council. According to a report by ESPNCricinfo, the Associate nations are set to receive 11.19% of the earnings generated by the ICC.

    Apart from that, the full members are set to earn the remaining 88.81% of the share. Here’s a list of the top five cricket boards which have the highest share.

    1. India – 38.5% share from ICC earnings

    BCCI has the highest percentage of share in the ICC earnings. The Indian cricket governing body is reportedly set to earn 38.5% of the earnings generated by the ICC. India is home to 80% of the cricket fans in the world, which is why it is not surprising to see the BCCI on the top of this list.

    2. England – 6.89% share from ICC earnings

    England’s share reduced a bit in the new cycle. The England and Wales Cricket Board is set to earn 6.89% share from the International Cricket Council’s earnings.

    3. Australia – 6.25% share

    Australia hold the record for winning the highest number of Cricket World Cup tournaments. Cricket Australia will reportedly receive 6.25% share from the earnings of the international body.

    4. Pakistan – 5.75% share

    Pakistan is the second Asian nation to feature on this list. The Pakistan Cricket Board will receive a 5.75% share from the ICC’s earnings in the current cycle.

    5. New Zealand – 4.73% share

    The runners-up of ICC T20 World Cup 2021 and ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, New Zealand have a share of 4.73% in the earnings. They are among the Top 5 earning nations as well.
