Asia Cup 2023 began on August 30 with a fixture between last edition’s finalists Pakistan and new entrants Nepal. It was a lopsided game. Babar Azam and Iftikhar Ahmed’s centuries guided the Men in Green to a 238-run victory at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
There are four other teams present in the tournament. They are India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. 5. Youngest Pakistan cricketer in Asia Cup 2023 – Naseem Shah
Pakistan’s right-arm fast bowler Naseem Shah is 20 years and 175 days. He came into the limelight after his top performance against India during last year’s Asia Cup. He will aim to continue in the same vein.

Nepal is making its debut in the Asia Cup this year. They are in the same group as India and Pakistan. Nepal’s team is full of youngsters. One of them is batting all-rounder Kushal Malla, who is 19 years and 162 days old.
3. Pratis GC
Another 19-year-old all-rounder present in the Nepal squad is Pratis GC. He is a bowling all-rounder. Pratis bats right-handed and bowls left-arm medium pace.
2. Noor Ahmad
Afghanistan have picked young left-arm wrist-spinner Noor Ahmad in their squad for the continental championship this year. Ahmad, who won IPL 2022 with Gujarat Titans, is 18 years and 236 days old.

The youngest player in the tournament this year is Gulsan Jha. Gulsan is a fast bowler, aged 17 years and 178 days. He bowls right-arm medium pace for the Nepal team.
