The long-awaited comeback of the former Indian captain Virat Kohli to the shorter format happened in the second T20 match between India and Afghanistan at Holkar Stadium in Indore. Virat looked good on his return and played a 16-ball, 29-run knock.

He got out, trying to score quick runs. He will be back in action in the third T20 on Wednesday at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. It is the home ground for Virat Kohli, as he played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore and has played all his IPL career at this venue.

Hence, the crowd support will be immense for Virat at the stadium. Notably, the former Indian captain is all set to feature in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 for India; that’s the reason he, along with Rohit Sharma, are back in T20Is.
