This is going to be huge as Virat Kohli will be against Gautam Gambhir, and we all know what happened when these two met last time in an IPL game. Hence, the excitement level among the fans is at its highest, and fans are eagerly waiting for this upcoming clash.

Gambhir has joined KKR as a mentor and will look to take his team to victory. Meanwhile, he will be up against Virat’s RCB in Bengaluru. The former RCB captain is coming off a match-winning performance against Punjab Kings and is looking great. He is also the third-highest scorer in the competition, with 98 runs in two innings.

He completed the 100th half-century in the shorter format in the last game to become the first Indian to do so. Now, he has another big chance to create yet another massive record in the IPL. Notably, Virat has been part of the RCB since the beginning, in 2008, and he is the only player to play for one franchise since the inaugural season.

He has scored 7361 runs for them in the IPL with 7 centuries and 51 half-centuries. Virat needs three more sixes to hit the most sixes for RCB in the IPL. He has hit 237 sixes so far and is behind Chris Gayle (239) and AB de Villiers (238). If he can hit three sixes on Friday against KKR, he will become the first player to hit 240 sixes for an IPL franchise.

Only six players have scored more than 200 sixes for an IPL team. Apart from these three RCB stars, Kieron Pollard (223) and Rohit Sharma (210) have hit more than 200 sixes for MI, and MS Dhoni has hit 209 sixes for CSK.
