Now there is a gap of almost ten days since the start of the third test. The coming game will start on February 15 in Rajkot at Saurashtra Cricket Stadium. Team India has not announced the squad for the final three tests, as there are notable names that are expected to be back.

KL Rahul, who was ruled out of the second test due to injury, is expected to be back. There is a slight chance that Ravindra Jadeja might be available for the fourth and fifth games. However, one name that everyone is waiting for is former Indian captain Virat Kohli.

The 35-year-old withdrew from the first two tests because of personal issues. He told the management and selectors that he would be back from the third test onwards. However, there is no update on his availability for the remaining matches. Some media reports confirm that he might not be available for the complete series.

But now, the Indian head coach, Rahul Dravid, has broken his silence on this. In the post-match presentation, when asked about Virat Kohli, Dravid said, “It’s best to ask the selectors. They are going to announce the squad in a few days. We will connect with him and find out.”

However, a BCCI official told InsideSport that the clarity will be there in the next few days because Virat asked to be available for the last three tests, and they are waiting for his confirmation. Notably, Team India has struggled during the batting in the middle order, and Virat’s inclusion will surely be a confidence booster for the team.
