In the first over of the South African cricket team’s second innings of the ongoing Test, Sarel Erwee played an aerial shot towards the backward point region. For some reason, Mehidy Hasan could not spot the ball. He thought that the ball went in another direction.

The ball hit him hard on his chest. Since Mehidy had no idea that the ball was coming towards him, he was caught off guard. Later, the medical team stretchered him off the field. Luckily, there was no serious injury to the all-rounder of the Bangladesh team.
