On the first ball of the 23rd over of Australia’s innings bowled by Haris Rauf, Marnus Labuschagne nudged a ball towards the leg-side region. The outfield was quick in Hyderabad, but it looked like the fielders standing in the deep would stop the ball easily.

Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Mohammad Nawaz were in the leg-side region in the deep, and both fielders ran towards the ball to stop it from crossing the boundary. In an absolutely comical manner, both fielders gave up on the chase at the same time, thinking that the other fielder would stop the ball.

Since none of them attempted for the save, the ball easily crossed the boundary line. Marnus Labuschagne earned four runs. The bowler Haris Rauf was not happy with what happened in the deep.

This is not the first time Pakistan’s fielders have committed an error like this. In the past also, there have been many such incidents involving the Pakistan cricket team, and Shikhar Dhawan referred to the same in his video tweet earlier today.
