Pakistan’s biggest T20 cricket league and one of world’s top T20 cricket league, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 edition is here and set to begin from the 27th of January.

Pakistan’s premier T20 league, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 edition is set to kick-off on the 27th January, which about in 2 days from today, and will run until 27th February.

As usual, the Pakistan League will be played by the existing 6 teams that played in the 2021 edition of the tournament, there has been no changes to that.

The 6 teams are Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalanders, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultan.

The tournament will feature some of the top cricketers from around the world, the likes of Jason Roy, Mohammad Nabi, Colin Munro, and West Indies’ upcoming star all-rounder Odean Smith among many.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 edition of the PSL will be played in centralised venues in Karachi and Lahore. The first phase of matches will be played in Karachi, while the last leg will be played in Lahore.

The first match of the season will be played between the Karachi Kings and Multan Sultan on the 27th of January. Multan Sultan are the current defending champions having won the previous edition in 2021.

When and what time will the Pakistan Super League 2022 matches will be played ?

Pakistan Super League will be played from the 27th January and will continue till the 27th February. The matches will begin at 7:30 PM IST. As for the double-headers, the Friday double-headers will be played at 3:30 PM IST and 8:30 PM IST, while double-headers on normal days will be played at 2:30 PM IST and 7:30 PM IST.
