In an interview with Sports Tak, Yuvraj shared his views on the IND vs AUS final. He said, “Given how India’s graph has been in the World Cup 2023, I don’t think they will perform badly. The only way India can lose this World Cup is through their mistakes. I feel they are high on confidence at the moment.”
He pointed out the 2003 tournament, when Australia beat India in the final. Yuvraj said that Australia dominated India in that final, and this is the time now. India has been dominant throughout the tournament, and it is a great chance for the hosts to win the title.
However, Yuvraj stated that no one can write off the five-time champions because they know how to handle pressure, which is why they have won so many ICC titles. He said that India needs to play the way they are playing and continue the momentum. India recently lost the WTC 2023 final to Australia, and that will be on their minds for sure.
