Having a strike rate of 600 is the dream of every batter. The maximum runs a batter can score off a legal delivery without any overthrows is 6 runs. So if a batter has a strike rate of 600 in an innings, it means that he has scored the maximum runs possible with the bat on the balls that he has faced.
Strike rate of 600 is generally seen more in T10 and T20 cricket. However, it is quite rare to see a player hitting a six off every ball faced in the innings of a Test match or an ODI match. In the long history of Test cricket, there have been only two such instances when a batter finished not out with a scoring rate of 600. Here is the list of those two batters.
1. Agha Salman had a strike rate of 600 against Sri Lanka, ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle match
The Pakistan cricket team is currently on a tour of Sri Lanka as a part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship cycle. The two Asian countries are competing against each other in a two-match series, with the first one ending at the Galle International Stadium earlier today.
Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by four wickets in that match, thereby ending their drought of Test match wins since July 2022. Agha Salman played a vital role in Pakistan’s win. He stitched up a crucial partnership with Saud Shakeel in the first innings and then smashed a match-winning 1-ball 6* in the second innings, where he had a scoring rate of 600.
2. Sanath Jayasuriya had a strike rate of 600 vs England, 1993

The England cricket team visited Sri Lanka in 1992/93. In the only Test of that tour hosted by Colombo, the home side received a target of 140 to win. Sanath Jayasuriya was not out on 6 runs off 1 ball in that match.
