    The brand new Zim Afro T10 League will begin later this year, with five teams from Zimbabwe, competing against each other in a franchise-based T10 competition. This tournament came into the headlines after Pakistan Super League champions Lahore Qalandars invested in the league. Bollywood celebrity Sanjay Dutt has also bought a franchise in this tournament.

    Several well-known players of world cricket like Eoin Morgan, Tymal Mills, Tom Banton, Maheesh Theekshana, Noor Ahmad, Evin Lewis, Ben McDermott, Ashton Turner, Sikandar Raza, Evin Lewis, Shahnawaz Dahani, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Bhanuka Rajapaksa have joined the competition.

    The five teams that will play in this tournament are Harare Hurricanes, Cape Town Samp Army, Durban Qalandars, Joburg Buffaloes and Bulawayo Braves. A couple of popular retired Indian cricketers have also participated in this competition. Here’s a list of the two Indian players who will play in the inaugural Zim Afro T10 League 2023 from July 20 to 29.

    1. Yusuf Pathan will play in Zim Afro T10 League

    One of the biggest names of Indian cricket, Yusuf Pathan has announced his retirement from international cricket and IPL, but he continues to play in other franchise leagues. One of them is the Zimbabwe’s new T10 competition now, where Pathan will play for the Joburg Buffaloes.

    Pathan was a member of the Indian squad that won the ICC T20 World Cup 2007 and ICC World Cup 2011. He also lifted the IPL 2012 and 2014 titles with the Kolkata Knight Riders.

    2. Robin Uthappa

    Former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa will play for the Harare Hurricanes in this tournament. Uthappa has done a great job in T20 cricket. He played his last season in the IPL for the Chennai Super Kings in 2022. In 2023, he signed up with Dubai Capitals in ILT20 and now he will play for Harare.
