In the current era, especially in India, it is hard to represent the nation in one format, let alone three formats. However, a few have made it possible, all within a span of a few days. Here, we take a look at the list of two Indians who recently debuted in all three formats on a single tour.

Sometimes, on a tour, the management might be forced to hand debuts in case of injuries. There would also be a few players who merit making their debut across formats. Two Indians have done that in recent years.

    1) Mukesh Kumar – Tour of West Indies (2023)

West Bengal pacer Mukesh Kumar is the latest to join this list. Mukesh also made his IPL debut just a few months ago. Even before his IPL debut, he had got a chance in the Indian Team but could not make his debut. However, after his impressive show in IPL, Mukesh earned his spot in the Indian Team for the West Indies tour. On this tour, he has played for India in all three formats of the game.

    2) T Natarajan – Tour of Australia (2020-21)

T Natarajan is one of the Indians who recently debuted in all three formats on a single tour. After his breakthrough IPL campaign, it was a matter of time before Natarajan made his India debut. Considered as a specialist for the shorter formats, it was not a surprise that Nattu made his debut in T20Is and ODIs on the same tour. However, in the final Test of the BGT, India suffered too many injury issues and Nattu was one of the very few pacers available in the Indian camp. Hence, despite not having a great reputation as a Test player, Natarajan made his debut. He was also good in that game and helped India win the encounter.
