1. David Miller went unsold in IPL Auction 2022
Not many fans would know that current South African batter David Miller went unsold in the first round of the mega auction which happened earlier this year. Later, when the unsold players returned to the auction pool, the Gujarat Titans signed him. Miller brought his ‘A’ game to the table while playing for the Titans in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.

2. Chris Gayle, 2011
Caribbean batter Chris Gayle did not attract a single bid at the IPL Mega Auction which took place in the year 2011. Later in the tournament, Royal Challengers Bangalore roped him in as a replacement for Dirk Nannes. Gayle relentlessly destroyed all teams after that and earned the nickname of ‘Universe Boss’.
