Naturally, some of the players are common in the IPL teams and their sister franchises of other T20 leagues. Interestingly, a couple of players, who are coaching in the Indian Premier League are participating in SA20 and International League T20 as players. Here’s a list of the two players.

    1. CSK bowling coach in IPL Dwayne Bravo is playing for MI Emirates in ILT20

Dwayne Bravo announced his retirement from the IPL after the 2022 season ended. The Caribbean all-rounder took over the role of the team’s bowling coach. Bravo continues to play in other T20 leagues like Major League Cricket, Caribbean Premier League and even International League T20.

    2. MI batting coach in IPL Kieron Pollard is captain of MI Cape Town in SA20

Like Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard retired from IPL and took over coaching responsibilities, albeit in the batting department. The former West Indies captain actively plays in the other T20 competitions, including SA20, where he is the captain of MI Cape Town.

Pollard is also the skipper of the MI New York team in the Major League Cricket. Some fans often wonder why he retired from IPL so early.
