    1. Mohammad Amir won T20 World Cup 2009 before turning 18 years old

    Pakistan’s left-arm fast bowler Mohammad Amir was a part of the Men in Green’s squad that won the 2009 T20 World Cup in England. It was the second edition of the mega event, and for the second time, Pakistan qualified for the final match.

    In the final, they defeated Sri Lanka by eight wickets, riding on Shahid Afridi’s fifty to capture the trophy. Speaking of Amir’s performance in that competition, the 17-year-old played in all seven matches for the team. He scalped six wickets at an economy rate of 7.29.

    2. Ahmed Shehzad

    Another Pakistan player who won the 2009 T20 World Cup before turning 18 was batter Ahmed Shehzad. The right-handed batter got only one game in that mega event, but he was a member of the squad that lifted the trophy on June 21, 2009.

    Shehzad faced seven balls in the tournament, scoring four runs. Many fans regarded Shehzad and Mohammad Amir as the future of Pakistan. While they have a good record in international cricket, both players are no longer a part of the Pakistan squad for the 2022 edition of the mega event.
