It is interesting to note that his son-in-law Rohit is a popular cricketer. Rohit plays for Pondicherry and is also the captain of the side. An all-rounder, he bats for the team at No.3. Rohit has also been a part of the Tamil Nadu Premier League for a long time now.
2) Agni Dev Chopra – Son of Vidhu Vinod Chopra
Agni Dev Chopra is the latest to join this list of relations of popular filmmakers who are playing in Ranji Trophy 2024. 12th Fail is arguably the best movie that hit the screens in 2023. It was veteran director Vidhu Vinod Chopra who directed the film. Vidhu Vinod Chopra is also a popular producer, having made films such as 3 Idiots and PK. 12th Fail was an inspiring movie and has gained more fans since its release on OTT. Interestingly, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s son Agni Dev Chopra plays for Mizoram. At the moment, he is the highest run-getter in the ongoing Ranji Trophy. He has already scored a couple of centuries and is looking in fine form. If the youngster can continue this good form, he could have a bright career in the sport.
