Ravi Bishnoi was one of the premium Indian players on the auction list. Hence, he went for a good price, and there was demand for the former LSG spinner. That said, he did not go for a very high price, as well.
1) Chennai Super Kings
After Ravindra Jadeja’s exit, CSK needed a good Indian spinner to replace him. Hence, they went after Ravi Bishnoi. However, at that time, they had other targets and could not nail down the spinner. In the end, CSK signed Rahul Chahar. While Rahul is not in great form, he has IPL experience and would be a good option to have in the team. Shreyas Gopal is also one of the choices that CSK has along with Noor Ahmed in the team.
2) Sunrisers Hyderabad is one of the teams which bid for Ravi Bishnoi before Rajasthan Royals signed him
SRH actually had the cash and the motivation to go hard for Ravi Bishnoi. However, it appeared that they wanted to strengthen their batting attack and hence, decided not to pursue further for Bishnoi. Now, Zeeshan Ansari and Harsh Dubey will form the core of the spin attack. Both are youngsters and they will have a lot on their plates to do a good job for the franchise.
