Ellyse Perry has made a name for herself with her magnificent performances in women’s cricket matches. The all-rounder from Australia used to play professional football before becoming a full-time cricketer. She even hit a goal for Australia in the women’s FIFA World Cup.
Now, Perry has been playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in the Women’s Premier League. She has been a big match-winner for RCB, and in today’s match against the Mumbai Indians in Delhi, Perry bowled an emphatic spell of 6/15.

1. Ellyse Perry is the only player with 2 centuries and 2 five-wicket hauls in T20 cricket
When T20 cricket started, many fans believed that no batter would be able to hit a ton in this format because the team only gets total 120 balls in an innings. Similarly, the belief was that the bowlers would struggle to get a five-wicket haul as they can bowl a maximum of 24 balls only.
However, Ellyse has achieved this feat twice. She scored a century against Perth Scorchers and then Brisbane Heat in WBBL 2018. With the ball, she took a fifer against Melbourne Renegades last year and against Mumbai Indians tonight.
2. All format specialist Perry
Another unique world record which Perry holds is scoring a century and taking a six-wicket haul in all three formats of cricket. Her highest score in first-class is 213, List-A is 147, T20 is 103*. Her best bowling figures in the three formats of the game are 6/32, 7/22 and 6/15, respectively.
