Tim David and Josh Hazlewood did really well for RCB in IPL 2025. They helped the franchise win the trophy. Likewise, RCB could target a few more Aussies for the next season. Here, we take a look at the list of three talented Australian cricketers whom RCB can target for IPL 2026.
RCB will want to further improve their squad for the next season. There are a few gaps which the team would want to fill and make the team more complete.
1) Cameron Green
Liam Livingstone is likely to vacate his spot at RCB. The franchise needs a good overseas batter and there is no better choice than Green. Yes, he shall be expensive but if RCB can somehow arrange the funds, he would be a serious acqusition for the squad.
2) Jason Behrendorff is one of the cricketers RCB can target for IPL 2026
If Josh Hazlewood misses any games, RCB has a good backup in Nuwan Thushara. Jason can also be a decent choice, considering he is a proven wicket-taker with the new ball. This will allow RCB to experiment with the usage of their other bowlers across the innings.
3) Lance Morris
There is no pacer who can bowl out-and-out pace in the squad. The management will want to make some transfers here. In this regard, Morris can be a suitable option, especially with the kind of form that he showed in the last BBL. At least as a backup, he can be a good choice to have.
