RCB has had several popular Australian cricketers play for them. However, a few of them were picked by the side at the auction, but they never got an RCB debut cap. Here, we take a look at the list of three Australians picked by RCB but never played for them.
It is difficult for a foreigner in the IPL. Unless you are established, it is hard to get consistent gametime. Especially with RCB, with people like Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers, it was tough to get a spot in the XI.

Nathan Bracken was an important pick at the first auction for RCB. However, the left-arm pacer from Australia never played for the franchise. Bracken never played the IPL, as well.
2) Steve Smith is one of the Australians picked by RCB but never played for them
Steve Smith is one of the popular names in this regard. He played IPL for a long time but incidentally, his first stint was with RCB. He was a beginner back then and hence, he did not get a chance.
3) Nathan Coulter-Nile
NCN was an expensive pick by RCB. However, there was an injury crisis and therefore, he could not turn up for the outfit. Corey Anderson had replaced him in the squad.
