The men in blue will be involved in a home Test season in the coming months. Hence, there is a chance for a few players to set their Test careers back on track. Here, we take a look at the list of three batters who could make a comeback in Tests for India.
The Indian Team is in a transition, especially in the batting department. Hence, it is natural that quite a few changes will happen so that the team can find the right combination.
1) Shreyas Iyer
Shreyas Iyer is a man in form. He is also high on confidence. Especially on Indian tracks, he would be ideal at No.5, especially if Rishabh Pant is not available. Shreyas has, anyway, done well in the past in Tests to deserve this role.
2) Rajat Patidar is one of the batters who could make a comeback in Tests for India
Rajat Patidar did not have a great start to his Test career. However, he is in form now. He was recently the highest run-getter at the Duleep Trophy. Rajat could fit in at both No.3 and No.5. This flexibility could help him bag a spot.
3) Devdutt Padikkal
If not for his injury, DDP would have been on the flight to England. Nevertheless, he is fit and he has been consistent at the domestic level. India would like to have a few options at No.3 and hence, DDP could get a chance.
