For KKR, there is still a long way to go. The franchise has a solid core and it is just a matter of time before the players do well. That said, a few changes will have to be made by the side.

    1) Luvnith Sisodia for Quinton de Kock

In the few balls he was at the crease, QDK was not confident. Also, having two left-handed players at the top does not help the balance. Ajinkya Rahane could open the batting and someone like Luvnith can be used in the middle order. KKR can use the extra foreign batting slot for an extra all-rounder or pacer.

    2) Anrich Nortje for Spencer Johnson is one of the changes KKR could make for the next game

Anrich Nortje for Spencer Johnson is one of the changes KKR must make for their next game in the tournament. It was actually a surprise that KKR did not go for Nortje in the first game. Unless he has an injury, it does not make sense for the management to leave him out of the playing XI. He is someone who has the skills to change the game within a span of a few deliveries. His height and raw pace troubles most batters and would surely be an asset to have.

    3) Mayank Markhande for Vaibhav Arora

Vaibhav Arora was not very impressive against RCB. He leaked a lot of runs and lacked control. For the next match, the management must consider having Mayank Markhande in the XI. He gives the variety in the middle overs with his leg-spin. Also, with Varun and Sunil bowling around him, the Punjab spinner can be more dangerous.
