The 17th edition of the Indian Premier League is all set to kick off in a month. All ten teams will start preparing for the coming edition and will start setting up camps for practice sessions. With not much time left, there have already been a few injuries to some of the players. Mark Wook pulled out, and LSG signed Shamar Joseph as a replacement.

Something similar is going on in the RCB camp. Star English pacer Reece Topley is going through an injury, and he has pulled off the upcoming PSL 2024, as the ECB has not given him the NOC because the T20 World Cup 2024 is not far away. That might be an alarming sign for RCB, as he might miss the upcoming IPL season as well. So the franchise will have to find a replacement for him.

    3. Jason Holder

Veteran West Indian star Jason Holder is certainly one big name that went unsold in the IPL 2024 auction. The 32-year-old will give an all-round option to the team. He is a pretty good bowler who can restrict the opposition in the death overs. Holder has played in the IPL. He has played 46 IPL matches and taken 53 wickets at an economy rate of 8.81.

    2. Adam Milne

Adam Milne is another pacer who has been pretty effective at the international level. He is a key player for New Zealand across formats. He also played for a few IPL teams. Henry brings the option of a swing bowler to the table similarly to Topley but at a faster pace. The Kiwi pacer can also bowl at death overs, which is an additional advantage to have at Chinnaswamy.

    1. Wayne Parnell

Wayne Parnell was part of the RCB squad last season as a replacement for Reece Topley. He played 7 games and took 9 wickets for RCB and was pretty good. He is coming off a good SA20 season but was unsold at the IPL 2024 auction. Bangalore can look up to him if they need someone who has already bowled at Chinnaswamy and knows the atmosphere here.
