As per reports, RCB has parted ways with Sanjay Bangar and Mike Hesson. This means that RCB will be in the market for a new Head Coach and possibly a new Director of Cricket, as well. Currently, there are plenty of options available for the Bengaluru-based outfit. Here, we take a look at the list of three candidates who could become the next Head Coach of RCB.

    1) Ravi Shastri

Ravi Shastri has returned to the role as a full-time commentator. However, he would like to make a return to the role of a Head Coach and win a couple of big trophies. Since Virat Kohli is at RCB and Ravi enjoyed a good relationship with him, it actually won’t be a surprise if RCB looks to bring back the former India cricketer.

    2) Andy Flower

Andy Flower is one of the candidates who could become the next Head Coach of RCB. It would be a logical option for the franchise to approach Andy Flower, who recently left LSG. While there are reports that Flower might become the next India Coach, there is still a long way to go for that. Flower has the pedigree of winning multiple trophies in various T20 leagues. He is a brilliant strategist and it makes complete sense for RCB to appoint him for the role.

    3) Shane Watson

Recently, Delhi Capitals ended their association with Shane Watson. He was a premier T20 cricketer and for the next stage of his career, becoming the Head Coach would be a logical step. His involvement as an Assistant Coach in DC proves that he is also in the same direction. Hence, RCB could look to appoint Watto because he will bring with him plenty of experience in the format, especially having gone through the transition of the game evolution. It would also be a good idea to have a fresh coach with some fresh ideas.
