1. Will Jacks in for Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli should take over reins of RCB in IPL 2024
2024 hasn’t been the year of Faf du Plessis. He struggled while playing in SA20 for Joburg Super Kings, and the same story has continued in IPL for RCB. While du Plessis is a class player and can make a return to form, Bengaluru have an explosive batting option in the form of Will Jacks sitting on the bench.
Perhaps, the Royal Challengers can give a short break to du Plessis and try out Jacks. In the mean time, Kohli can lead the RCB team, just like he did in some matches of IPL 2023.
2. Lockie Ferguson in for Reece Topley
Lockie Ferguson is one of the biggest match-winners with the ball. However, the RCB team management has benched him so far in the IPL season. They dropped Alzarri Joseph for Reece Topley, who couldn’t make much of an impact. It’s time to unleash Ferguson now.
3. Suyash Prabhudessai in for Rajat Patidar
Suyash Prabhudessai had an impressive showing with the bat in IPL 2023. However, he is waiting to play his first match this season. With Rajat Patidar out of form since long, Bengaluru can drop him to include Suyash in the playing XI for the next match.
