Playing 100 matches for the nation is the dream of many cricketers. Some players even dream to play 100 matches across all formats. However, due to fitness, form and several other reasons, it is not possible for a player to achieve the feat easily.

Playing 100 Tests, 100 ODIs and 100 T20Is means that the player not only has great skills but he also knows how to apply the necessary skills in the respective formats. Till date, only three players have managed to play 100 matches in each format. Unsurprisingly, all three are specialist batters. Here’s a list of the three names.

    1. One of the top Australian cricketers – David Warner

Earlier today, Australian batter David Warner became the third member of this elite club. The southpaw, who has already retired from Tests and ODIs, played the 100th T20I match of his career against West Indies. He won the Man of the Match award as well. Warner announced that he will retire from the T20I format after the ICC T20 World Cup later this year.

“It’s great, I feel refreshed, guys have told me settle down, I want to play the T20 World Cup and finish there, I’m excited and it’s a good little journey that we’ve got going for the next 6 months,” Warner said.

    2. Virat Kohli

Very few lists in cricket will be such that they do not feature the name of Virat Kohli. The star Indian batter has shattered many records in his legendary career. Despite the severe competition that he faces in the team, Kohli has managed to make more than 100 appearances for Team India across all three formats.

    3. Ross Taylor

Former New Zealand batter Ross Taylor is also present on this list. Taylor played 112 Test matches, 236 ODIs and 102 T20I matches for the Blackcaps. He announced retirement from all formats of cricket after the home ODI series against the Netherlands back in April 2022.
