1) Karun Nair
Karun Nair did not get an IPL contract in IPL 2024. Nevertheless, he is in top form now. In the recent KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy, Karun scored the most runs and he got his runs at a very good strike. As a captain, he also led his side to the win. Considering Dravid backed him back then, Karun might get another chance to restart his career in IPL.
2) Deepak Hooda was at RR when Rahul Dravid was the Mentor
Deepak Hooda is one of the cricketers who played at RR when Rahul Dravid was mentor and might join RR for IPL 2025. LSG is likely to release the cricketer. Deepak is good against spin and since Riyan Parag is good against pace, RR could use this duo to control the middle overs. Deepak also provides a bit with the ball and that will further add balance to the side.
3) Rahul Tewatia
In the finishing department, RR will ideally need someone like Rahul Tewatia. The current Gujarat Titans cricketer is known for his quick cameos and he has a good range of shots in his arsenal. He would be perfect for the side at No.7. Also, since he has improved his bowling in recent times, that will also help the franchise.
