The game needs more such matches to keep the fans engaged. While with the T20 leagues, we have seen players from different nations play together, the concept of an Asia XI or a World XI is still fresh and will draw viewers.
1) Sam Billings
Sam Billings might not have had a long career in the English setup. He still has the age to make a comeback. However, that looks hard. Nevertheless, at the domestic level, he is enjoying great success. He has won multiple Hundred competitions and he has done as a captain. Hence, he is rated highly and gets gigs in various other T20 competitions.
2) Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan was an established spinner back then itself. Now, he has consolidated his position as one of the best spinners in the format. He is on his way to break multiple records and with age still on his side, we could see Rashid attain a legendary status in the coming years. On the other hand, he is doing well for Afghanistan as the skipper in this format.
3) Tymal Mills
The English bowler is an active cricketer in the UK. While a return to the English setup looks unlikely, he is doing a decent job in various T20 Leagues. Recently, he made a strong comeback with his performances at the Hundred. However, that was not enough for him to cement his place in the England T20I squad.
