RR must ensure that there is sufficient backup for their foreign players. Last year, despite his poor run, Shimron Hetmyer was trusted mainly because there was no backup.
1) Cameron Green
It is a no-brainer for the Rajasthan Royals. It will be the case for many other outfits, too. Green adds so much balance to the side that he would instantly upgrade any franchise. RR organically needs such a player in the middle order, and hence, Green ticks all the boxes.
2) Michael Bracewell is one of the foreigners Rajasthan Royals might target for IPL 2026
Maheesh Theekshana is good in the powerplay, but sometimes, he could leak runs. Bracewell could also leak runs but he is someone who adds value with the bat. This balance could be desired in the franchise. The Kiwi has played in the IPL before and if some early wickets fall, he could also be promoted up the order to steady things.
3) Ben Dwarshuis
It is more about giving a solid partner for Jofra Archer. Kwena Maphaka is too young and might not be able to do the job. Ben Dwarshuis is in form, and he could offer better value, considering he is also decent with the willow.
