Sunrisers Hyderabad will look to make some changes before the next season. The performance in IPL 2025 was not great for them. Here, we take a look at the list of three foreigners SRH could target for IPL 2026.
SRH is a squad that depends on its foreign players to do the bulk of the job. In this regard, we can expect them to try for some top foreign cricketers at the auction.
1) Ben Dwarshuis
SRH needs a good left-arm pacer. In this regard, they could eye a deal with Ben. He is Australia’s No.1 T20I left-arm pacer now after the retirement of Mitchell Starc. Hence, there would be demand for him.
2) Michael Bracewell is one of the foreigners SRH could target for IPL 2026
Michael Bracewell will be an acquisition that would make the squad balanced for SRH. They would get a bank with the ball and with the bat, there would be someone who can close down an innings or even come up the order if there are some early wickets.
3) Jamie Smith
SRH could start planning for the future with the signing of Jamie Smith. He can be the backup batter in the side, a choice which SRH did not have in the last season. Kamindu Mendis was there but he was not brilliant. Jamie will be an upgrade.
