KKR had a tough run in IPL 2025. The team management might have a change before the next season. It is probably needed to bring in more fresh ideas to the side. Here, we take a look at the list of three former players KKR can target as the next Head Coach.
Chandrakant Pandit could be on his way out. While he won the season last year, as a domestic coach, he has not got the best out of the Indian talents. Hence, KKR could look for a fresh coach with modern ideas.
1) Shane Bond
Shane Bond has had success as a Head Coach, especially with his tactical way of taking things forward. At Rajasthan Royals, his elevation could be blocked due to the arrival of Rahul Dravid. Hence, KKR could convince Bond to take up a role at KKR. It would also help the young pacers to have a Head Coach like him alongside Bharat Arun.
2) Eoin Morgan is one of the former players KKR can target as the next Head Coach
Eoin Morgan has yet to establish or even start his career as a coach. However, as a captain, he did well with his tactics and hence, he has the right platform to do well as a coach. Therefore, KKR could consider his services.
3) Mark Boucher
Yes, he might have failed at the Mumbai Indians, but Mark deserves another chance. He did well in South Africa, and for this reason, he must be trusted as a Head Coach. KKR could also be a good franchise for Mark to make a comeback in the coaching arena.
