    The franchise was a part of IPL for just a few years. Nevertheless, some of the players in that squad have gone on to become important coaches in the IPL.

    1) Ashish Nehra

    Ashish Nehra, after retirement, started as the bowling coach of RCB before he became the Head Coach of Gujarat Titans in 2022. It was a brilliant appointment as Nehra helped GT win the title in 2022 and led the team to the finals in 2023. He has been able to bring out the best of some of the cricketers who had gone out of their track in their careers.

    2) Mithun Manhas is one of the former Pune Warriors players

    Mithun Manhas is one of the former Pune Warriors players who became coaches in IPL. At RCB and Gujarat Titans, Mithun Manhas has served a role as an assistant coach. The former Delhi cricketer did well in the Ranji Trophy in a managerial role before getting some good chances in the IPL.

    3) Abhishek Nayar

    As a cricket coach, Abhishek Nayar is rated very highly. For a few years now, he has been a part of KKR as an assistant coach. He has also been the Head Coach in some foriegn leagues. Nayar has also been able to do well to help cricketers such as Dinesh Karthik. It needs to be seen if he could become an Head Coach in the future.
