With the Impact Player rule, the role of an all-rounder has been reduced. Nevertheless, having an all-rounder on the side provides depth to both the departments of the game and also an additional matchup option.
1) Nishant Sindhu
CSK must also prepare a successor to Ravindra Jadeja. They already have a fine candidate who can do that. It will be interesting to see who plays at No.7 for RCB in IPL 2024. While the likes of Mahipal Lomror lead the race, if the team needs a medium-pace bowling all-rounder, Manoj could be the right option. He did well in the recent Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, especially when it came to big-hitting. Hence, he could be a choice for RCB.
3) Shubham Dubey
Shubham Dubey is one of the Indian all-rounders who might make debut in IPL 2024. Rajasthan Royals had very targets but they were very particular about these players. Shubham was one of them and RR spent a lot to hire the cricketer. He is a big-hitter in the lower middle-order and also bowls right-arm off-spin. He would help balance the side and it would not be a surprise if he plays right from the first game.
