1. Sameer Rizvi smashed a 6 on 1st ball of IPL career
Sameer Rizvi started his IPL career with a maximum last night against the Gujarat Titans at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. There was a lot of hype surrounding him because the Chennai Super Kings had spent INR 8.4 crore to acquire his services.
Rizvi did not get an opportunity to bat in the first match, but he came out to bat yesterday against GT. On the first ball itself, Rizvi sent a ball from Rashid Khan outside the boundary line.
2. Siddhesh Lad
Siddesh Lad has played only one match in his IPL journey so far, and it was for Mumbai Indians against Punjab Kings in 2019. Lad smacked a short ball from Ankit Rajpoot for a six in that encounter. He had a big smile on his face after he connected the shot.
3. Aniket Choudhary
The first Indian to hit a six on first ball of IPL career was Aniket Choudhary. He came out to bat at number 11 for Royal Challengers Bengaluru against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the season opener of the 2017 season, and whacked a delivery from Ben Cutting for a six.
