1) Suryakumar Yadav
Suryakumar Yadav was the skipper of the team that won the tournament. Cut to a decade later, SKY has represented India in all three formats of the game, with him being one of the first names on the team sheet in the T20 format. Yes, he had a late debut but SKY has made it worth it with his performances so far. India will look to win a couple of trophies with him at his peak.
2) KL Rahul
KL Rahul is one of the Indians in the 2013 Emerging Teams Asia Cup squad who are established players now. Although it was in the longer format that KL made his debut, he cemented his spot in the Indian Team mainly in the white-ball formats. A player who has captained India across formats, KL is currently struggling due to form. Nevertheless, he is a classy player and would play an important role in the 2023 ODI World Cup.
3) Jasprit Bumrah
Arguably the best Indian bowler of this generation, even Bumrah was a part of that squad. With his unorthodox action, many felt that Bumrah would be restricted to the T20 format. However, he is an all-format cricketer and a good one at it. Injuries have not helped him in his career but he is looking for a strong comeback. India’s chances in the 2023 ODI World Cup will rely heavily on Bumrah.
