Not many Indian coaches get an opportunity in the other T20 leagues. However, there is a shift in this trend with more IPL franchises investing in overseas T20 leagues. Hence, some deserving Indians are getting opportunities beyond the borders. On that note, here, we take a look at three Indians who are coaches in SA20 2024
1) S Sriram – Assistant Coach at Durban Super Giants
Sridharan Sriram was with RCB as the spin-bowling coach for the last few years. However, after the new management arrived, he had to leave the franchise for the Lucknow Super Giants. With him associated with LSG, it was a given that he would also land a good opportunity in SA20. Not many Indians get an opportunity as an assistant coach in overseas leagues. If Sriram uses this chance well, in the future, he could get a few more good opportunities in the other leagues.
2) AT Rajamani Prabhu – Strength and Conditioning Coach at Paarl Royals
AT Rajamani Prabhu is also one of the Indians who are coaches in SA20 2024. The Bengaluru-based fitness coach has been with Rajasthan Royals for a while. He has done a great job in improving the fitness of many players. Hence, it is not a surprise to see him get a gig in SA20 2024, as well.
3) Pratik Kadam – Strength and Conditioning Coach at MI Cape Town
Mumbai Indians owners like to give opportunities to the ones who find success at Mumbai Indians in the other leagues, as well. In this regard, Pratik Kadam deserves his chance at SA20. He has been with Mumbai Indians for a while now and has done a brilliant job. He will now look to help MI Cape Town, as well.
