Recently, Dinesh Karthik announced that he will play for Paarl Royals in SA20 2025. He will be the first Indian cricketer to be a part of the league. Here, we take a look at the list of three players who could enter the upcoming event of SA20 2025 Auctions.
With DK showing the way, some other players could also be interested in playing in the tournament. Although not as direct signings, they can at least enter the auctions and show their intent.
1) Robin Uthappa
Already Robin Uthappa once featured in the SA20 Auctions. However, he was not picked. Nevertheless, he is still young and can provide good value to the team. He is good against the spinners and is also a fine wicket-keeper. He would be available for the full season and that would make him a very good signing.
2) Kedar Jadhav could enter SA20 2025 Auctions
Kedar Jadhav is one of the players who could enter the upcoming event of SA20 2025 Auctions. After announcing his retirement, it is yet to be seen what next step Kedar Jadhav would take. Close to his retirement, he was actually playing well. He might be a decent option as a finisher and an off-spinner with an unorthodox action. He has also kept wickets in the past. Therefore, Jadhav could consider entering the auctions.
3) Ambati Rayudu
Ambati Rayudu has already played in the CPL and recently featured in the ILT20, as well. He has good connections with the Super Kings family and could therefore try his luck in the competition. Rayudu can be a good backup overseas middle-order batter to have.
