It was a memorable tour for India earlier this year. The transition is well on track. As a part of this, a few players who were in England might not get another game. Here, we take a look at the list of three Indians who toured England in 2025 but might not play for India again.
India had a tough run in home Tests last year. They would want to arrest that and also develop the squad at the same time. Hence, a few players might never wear the India jersey again.
1) Karun Nair
Karun Nair had a mediocre outing on his comeback to Team India. He could score just a single fifty in four games. Considering his age, he has been dropped from the setup. It is very hard for him to make a comeback now.
2) Shardul Thakur was a part of the India Tour of England 2025
Shardul also earned his comeback thanks to a fine show at the domestic level. However, he was not able to make an impact in England. He is not a frontline bowler, and with the bat, he is not reliable in each game. Therefore, India might not go back for his services again.
3) Abhimanyu Easwaran
For Abhimanyu, the debut cap is yet to come. He has now been dropped from the Team for the West Indies series. With youngsters like Devdutt Padikkal and B Sai Sudharsan coming through, it could be hard for the Bengal batter to make a comeback. He is 30 years old and the management might look past him for younger options.
