IPL is the biggest T20 tournament on earth right now, with 10 franchises from different cities from India competing against each other for supremacy. The tournament started in 2008 with eight teams. Over the years, the number of teams has changed, but now it is 10.
The franchises have massive fanbases, and they have tried to send a good message to the society by sporting some special jerseys on the field. In almost every IPL season, the Royal Challengers Bangalore have worn a green kit for one match to send the message of Go Green. Also, the Delhi Capitals sport rainbow kits in a match to send a message of unity.
These two teams have done it regularly, but the following three jerseys were seen only once in an Indian Premier League match.
1. Delhi Daredevils lavender kit, IPL 2015
Delhi Daredevils donned a lavender kit on May 1, 2015 in their match against the Punjab Kings. It was a gesture on Cancer Survivor Day. Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who defeated cancer, played for the Daredevils in that season. It was a one-sided affair that day as Delhi beat Punjab by nine wickets.
2. Rajasthan Royals pink kit, IPL 2018

Pink has been a regular feature in RR’s kits of late, but in 2018, they swapped the blue color with pink in their jersey. It was for spreading cancer awareness. Playing against CSK at Sawai Man Singh Stadium, RR won that match by four wickets.
3. RCB blue kit, 2021

To show support to the COVID warriors, Royal Challengers Bangalore decided to wear a blue kit for their league match against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2021. Unfortunately, they lost that game by a big margin.
