Karnataka is one of the strongest sides at the domestic level right now. However, RCB has failed to make use of the talent within the state. They do have a chance now to make amends.
1) LR Chethan
LR Chethan is one of the Karnataka players RCB could target in IPL 2024 Auctions. The top-order wicket-keeper batter is one of the highly rated names right now in Karnataka cricket. He has attended trials of various franchises in recent times. While there are reports that KKR has their eyes on him, RCB can sign the youngster, as well. RCB needs backups in the wicket-keeping department. LR Chethan would, hence, suit the side.
2) Vasuki Koushik
V Koushik is known for his discipline with the new ball. With Josh Hazlewood released, although Reece Topley is there, RCB would prefer an Indian new-ball partner for Siraj. While the likes of Shivam Mavi can be the first choice, Koushik would also be a decent addition for the side. Hence, he is on this list.
3) Manish Pandey
RCB has a solid batting line-up. However, the team is short of good backups in the top order. For instance, if someone like Rajat Patidar has a run of a few bad games, there is no good backup. In this context, hiring someone like Manish makes sense for RCB. He has experience playing at almost every slot in a T20 batting line-up. He is also a terrific fielder and knows the M Chinnaswamy Stadium very well.
