The SA20 Auctions for the next season concluded on September 9th. There were major changes in the composition of the squads. Here, we take a look at the list of three MI Cape Town signings whom the Mumbai Indians can target.
MI need to improve their foreign combination to deliver better for the side. Mainly in the bowling unit, MI need one more good overseas bowler.
1) Tabraiz Shamsi is one of the MI Cape Town signings for next season
MI has Mitchell Santner as the lead spinner. Allah Ghazanfar is likely to return for the next season. A good third choice will be Tabraiz Shamsi. He can be a game-changer on his day. MI can afford two overseas spinners in the playing XI.
2) Tristan Luus
Trent Boult will be a part of the side for every game. Bumrah is anyway there, and so is Deepak Chahar. For the role of fourth seamer, MI can have the option of Tristan. He is young and already has decent experience. Hence, he is on this list.
3) Tom Moores
Ryan Rickelton’s form tapered off in the last season. MI will want to have a backup for him. It would be a good idea if they could have someone in the lower middle-order. This will help the side balance the batting order. Hence, English cricketer Tom Moores can be a good fit for the side.
