CSK might be in need of some fresh ideas. Also, some of Fleming’s comments in the press meetings have not gone down well with the fans. Therefore, the management might look at other options.
1) Jonathan Trott
The former English batter is yet to win a major title as a coach. However, he has shown enough potential for a big team like CSK to invest in. Trott has done brilliantly well in Afghanistan. He could bring a similar philosophy here. Therefore, he is one of the choices for CSK in the coming seasons.
2) Mike Hesson is one of the T20 coaches CSK can target
It is shocking that Hesson does not have a coaching contract for IPL 2025. He has been doing really well at PSL. In RCB, as well, Mike had a solid foundation and helped the side do well in various seasons. It is just that he was not able to win the trophy, With Mike, there is a strong tactical base aided by some development of youngsters.
3) Shane Watson
Shane Watson is growing in this role. He is already gaining popularity as a Head Coach. There is a possibility that CSK could look at their former player. He was a proper all-rounder and some of his ideas could be useful for the side.
