Cricket World Cup is considered the grandest mega event in the world of cricket. This tournament happens once in every four years, and it is a spectacle of 50-over cricket. Every nation dreams to become the world champion in this format because the teams and the players who perform well in this format become immortal.

1. Bermuda played in Cricket World Cup 2007
Bermuda made their first appearance in the 2007 edition of the mega event. Asian fans would remember them because they played in the same group as India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Bermuda also lost all three matches in the tournament and never came back after that.

2. Namibia played in Cricket World Cup 2003
Namibia have been a part of the last two T20 World Cup tournaments, but the African side have not participated in the 50-over mega event even once after the year 2003 which was their maiden appearance. Namibia were in the same group as India in that competition. With the next World Cup set to be co-hosted by Namibia, they will be keen to qualify.
3. East Africa
East Africa were among the eight teams that participated in the inaugural edition of the mega event which happened back in 1975. India recorded their first WC win against them. ICC has banned East Africa now, and South Africa is the top team of Africa now.
