CSK are all set to trade Sam Curran to the Rajasthan Royals. It is a part of a deal to get Sanju Samson in CSK. Here, we take a look at the list of three players CSK can target in the auctions to replace Sam Curran.
After IPL 2025, Sam Curran has been in good form. He did well in the Hundred and also earned a spot in the national side again.
1) Daniel Sams
Daniel Sams is a decent choice for CSK. He will come at a cheap price, and he will be a good backup for the overseas pacers in the side. If needed, just like Sam, he can go up the order and help the batting unit with some of his contributions. He also has IPL experience to justify his case.
2) Cameron Green is one of the players CSK can target in the auctions to replace Sam Curran
Of course, he would be the dream signing for CSK. It would not be a surprise if they arrange the funds to make this move. Green could slot in at No.5 or No.6 and add the much-needed balance for the side. With Jadeja leaving, a pure all-rounder is needed, and Green can be that option for CSK.
3) Ben Dwarshuis
He offers more with the ball, but with someone like Matheesha Pathirana struggling, it is a good choice to have another overseas pacer in the side. Although not consistent, Ben does offer some services with the bat. He is also in form, and CSK could use that to their advantage.
