As per reports, there is contact again between the Rajasthan Royals and the Chennai Super Kings for Sanju Samson. Here, we take a look at the list of three players CSK might have to offer if they want Sanju Samson in a trade deal.
Sanju is an important player for RR. For whatever reason, he might want to leave, RR will want to get back a player of similar stature. Hence, they could work hard to convince CSK to let go of one of their star players.
1) Ravindra Jadeja
RR would expect not less than a player like Jaddu. He made his debut at RR, and it would be one big arc if he were going to return to the franchise. From a cricketing perspective, also, RR needs some experience in the spin department and Jaddu fits the bill.
2) Shivam Dube is one of the players CSK might have to offer if they want Sanju Samson
Even Shivam has been at RR before. Shivam is a part of the Indian Team right now, and he is also bowling, further adding value as an all-rounder. In the middle-order, against the spinners, he can be dangerou,s and RR would like a player like him in the side.
3) Matheesha Pathirana
RR has scope for a second overseas pacer in the playing XI along with Jofra Archer. Someone like Pathirana, if fit, would instantly add value and add muscle to the bowling attack. RR might even consider the deal if it can work out.
